Two Innocent Civilians Killed, One Injured in Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Shwegyin and Paukkhaung Townships of Bago Region

    The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorist groups known as the so-called PDFs. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 11 February 2026 at 8:30 AM, while U Win Htike Oo (42 years old), a resident of Zaw Ti Village in Shwegyin Township of Bago Region, was at his house, two so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by motorcycle, and opened fire on him, accusing him of being a “Decoy”. As a result, U Win Htike Oo died on the spot, it is reported.

    Similarly, on the same day at 3:00 PM, so-called PDF terrorists arrived and attacked a house where a wedding ceremony was being held in Padamyar Taung Village, Paukkhaung Township. As a result of the attack, among the individuals attending the ceremony, U Moe San (45 years old), a resident of Padamyar Taung Village, sustained gunshot wounds. Additionally, U Tun (aka) Tun Tun Oo (45 years old), a resident of Si Sone Kone Village in Pyay Township, died on the spot. The deceased and the injured were transported to Wet Htee Kan Station Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.

    According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
