Administrative officials and innocent civilians were killed by so-called PDF terrorists 

     In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 23 March at 10:30 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Yhwesakar Village, Thabeikkyin Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a 100-household elder, U Than Myint Naing (aka) Myint Naing (50 years old), who lived in the village, was in his house when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing the scene. As a result, U Than Myint Naing (aka) Myint Naing died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, on 24 March at 8:10 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Thapyaykine Village, Kyaukpadaung Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Village Administrator, U Maung Tin Sein (56 years old), who lived in the village, was in his house when five so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing the scene. As a result, U Maung Tin Sein died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 9:35 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Taungkalay Village, Kyaikto Township, Mon State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a 100-household elder, U San Lwin (57 years old), who lived in the village, was leaving his home on his motorcycle headed for the Village Administrator’s Office. As he reached the main road of the village, two so-called PDF terrorists, also on a motorcycle, followed him and subsequently opened fire before fleeing the scene. As a result, U San Lwin died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.

     Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of administrative officials in the abovementioned cases, it is reported.
