Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 April, 2024 at 12:55 PM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Natgyisin Village, Madaya Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that the U Tun Win (51 years old), who lives in Ywartawlay Village in Sinku Township, was travelling in a Hijet vehicle (License Plate No. 9L/XXXX) from Mogok Town to Mandalay City along the Mandalay-Mogok Road. As his vehicle neared the mileposts between 35/6 and 35/7, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded. As a result, U Tun Win sustained injuries from shrapnel and was transported to Madaya Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
