So-Called PDF Terrorists Abducted Innocent Civilian and Seize Mobile Phone under Violent Threats in Monywa Township of Sagaing Region

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities including abducting and extorting money from local civilians, as well as killings.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 9 December 2025 at 6:00 PM, Daw Sandar Win (47 years old), a resident of Kan Thar U (Inn Ywar Thit) Ward, Monywa Township of Sagaing Region, was abducted under violent threats by four members of the so-called PDF terrorists, who arrived on motorcycles while she was at home, it is reported.

     With reference to the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in line with standard procedures to identify and apprehend the terrorists who committed inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities, including abduction, extortion and killings, as well as to rescue the abducted individuals, it is reported.
