Two Innocent Civilians Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Sinbaungwe Township, Magway Region

     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorist group known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing loyal government employees who are dutifully performing their duties, monks and innocent local residents.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 16 January 2026 at 6:00 AM, while Daw Thida Yi, (35 years old) and her elder sister, Daw Lin Lin Khine, (40 years old), both residents of Khay Khine Ma Village in Sinbaungwe Township of Magway Region, were at their house, five so-called PDF terrorists arriving by three motorcycles and opened fire on them. As a result, the siblings died on the spot, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
