Innocent Civilian Injured After Landmine Explosion Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Bilin Township, Mon State

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 16 January 2026 at 9:05 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Yangon Public Hospital in Latha Township of Yangon Region. When security personnel arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Ko Pyae Phyo Kyaw (24 years old) a resident of Mal Lan Village in Bilin Township of Mon State. According to the investigation, while the victim was travelling by motorcycle to Nat Gyi Village, a landmine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded when he reached the area between Mal Lan Village and Nat Gyi Village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
