13 Innocent Civilians, Including Children, Killed and Injured in Heavy Weapon and Drone Bomb Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Nyaunglebin Township of Bago Region and Pakokku Township of Magway Region

   Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.

   Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 March 2026 at 3:30 PM, a report stated that 12 innocent civilians with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Pain Za Lote Station Hospital in Nyaunglebin Township of Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as Daw Than Kyi (60 years old), Daw Htay Maw (50 years old), Mg Aung Thiha Phyo (18 years old), Mg Nay Min Ko Ko (seven years old), Mg Han Nadi Naung (three years old), Mg Htet Wai Aung (11 years old), Mg Wai Yan Phyo (17 years old), Ma Thon Set May (six years old), Ma Eakri Phyo (six years old), Ma Moe Yu San (16 years old), Ma Khin Zar Htway (27 years old) and Ma Hmu Tha Zin (12 years old), all residents of Kyaung Kone Village of Nyaunglebin Township. According to the investigation, on 5 March 2026 at 6:00 AM, when heavy weapon shells fired by so-called PDF terrorists exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

   Similarly, on 6 March 2026 at 7:30 PM, while Ma Cherry Thin (13 years old), a resident of In Pin Village in Pakokku Township of Magway, was at her house, a bomb dropped by a drone operated by so-called PDF terrorists exploded at the house. As a result, the girl died on the spot, it is reported.

   According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
