Innocent Civilian Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Ywarngan Township of Shan State

     The terrorists, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 17 February 2026 at 10:00 PM, while U Aung Kyan (42 years old), a resident of Oak Twin Village in Ywarngan Township of Shan State, was at his house together with his brother-in-law, U Chan Win (48 years old), six so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by three motorcycles, and opened on them. As a result, U Aung Kyan died on the spot. Fortunately, U Chan Win was unharmed, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
