Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 January 2025 at 1:40 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had been admitted to the Magway Township Public Hospital of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that U Kyaw Than (47 years old), a resident of Sone Ma Gyi Pin village in Natmauk Township, had been travelling on his motorcycle to  In Taw Village in Yaenanchaung Township. While passing near In Taw Village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 5:20 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had been admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Salin Township. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that U Khin Soe (52 years old), a resident of Gway Pin Zin Village in Salin Township, had been returning home on foot from his farm. When he reached a location three furlongs south of his village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, exploded, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
