Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by KNU Terrorists and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Hpa-an Township of Kayin State

Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives, and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 September 2025 at 11:00 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Hpa-an District Public Hospital in Kayin State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Phar Mu Htu (39 years old), a resident of Tada-U Village in Hpa-an Township. The incident had occurred at 6:00 AM, on the same day, the victim was herding buffaloes west of the village, a heavy weapon shell fired by a combined group of KNU and so-called PDF terrorists exploded nearby, causing his injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
