Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Gyobingauk Township, Bago Region

Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings, and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives, and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 July 2025 at 1:30 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Township Public Hospital in Gyobingauk Township of Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they discovered the victim was identified as Ma Naw Mee Nyo (17 years old) a resident of Nyaung Pin Aei Village in Gyobingauk Township. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist group fired heavy weapons on the victim’s village. One of the shells exploded within the village, causing her injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
