Innocent Civilian was shot to death by the so-called PDF terrorist group in Daik-U Township of Bago Region

     In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 8 November 2025, at 04:15 PM, U Min Min Oo (43 years 0ld), a resident of Dayalmee Ward, Daik-U Township, Bago Region, was purchasing betel at the “Akari” betel shop located in the said ward when two members of the so-called PDF terrorist group, who arrived on a motorcycle, shot him dead, inflicting fatal gunshot wounds, it is reported. 

     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists who who carried out the shooting, motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy”, it is reported.
