Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Small and Heavy Weapon Attacks by KNU and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Yedashe Township of Bago Region

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 December 2025 at 9:30 AM, a report stated that a man and a woman with gunshot wounds and shrapnel injuries were admitted to Swar Station Hospital in Yedashe Township of Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as Daw Khin Hla Tint (45 years old), a resident of Swar Ywar Ma Village in Yedashe Township, and U Myint Tin (63 years old), a resident of Thaung Gyi Village. According to the investigation, on 23 December 2025 at 5:00 AM, while Daw Khin Hla Tint was at her house, a combined group of KNU and so-called PDF terrorists recklessly opened fire using small arms within her village, resulting in her injuries. Furthermore, on 24 December 2025 at 11:00 PM, while U Myint Tin was at a hut south of his village, a heavy weapon shell fired by a combined group of KNU and so-called PDF terrorists exploded nearby, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
