In Certain Townships, Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Improvised Explosive Device Explosions Planted by Terrorists

      In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, 28 May 2026 at 7:30 AM, while Daw Moe Wai (46 years old), a resident of Ye Oae Sin Village in Kyaukgyi Township of Bago Region, on her way to an orchard about two furlongs west of the village, she stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by a combined group of KNU and so-called PDF terrorists near the orchard. As a result, Daw Moe Wai sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Taungoo District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 8:45 PM, on the same day, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had been admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as U Aung San Khine (50 years old), a resident of No. 1 Ward in Singu Township. According to the investigation, at 6:30 PM, on the same day, while the victim was cleaning old items that he had purchased, an improvised explosive device concealed within the items exploded, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
