So-called PDF terrorists abducted a member of the Union Solidarity and Development Party under violent threats in Minbu Township of Magway Region

     Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities including abducting and extorting money from local civilians, as well as killings.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 11 September 2025 at 08:30 PM, U Nyein Mg (53 years old), a member of the Union Solidarity and Development Party and a resident of Kuywar Village, Minbu Township of Magway Region, was abducted under violent threats by approximately six so-called PDF terrorists who arrived on four motorcycles, it is reported.

     With reference to the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in line with standard procedures to identify and apprehend the terrorists who committed inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities, including abduction, extortion and killings, as well as to rescue the abducted individuals, it is reported.
