Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Improvised Rocket Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Madaya Township of Mandalay Region

    Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 15 July 2025 at 8:50 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group fired improvised rockets into Si Tine Kan Village in Madaya Township of Mandalay Region. One of the rocket shells exploded within the village. As a result, U Thet Naing Soe (42 years old) and Ko Soe Thu Zar Lin (aka) Phoe Thauk Kyar (16 years old), both residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries. They are currently receiving medical treatment at their respective houses, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
