Two Innocent Civilians Injured, House Damaged in Heavy and Small Weapons Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Taungtha Township of Mandalay Region

    Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 26 July 2025 at 6:10 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group fired both heavy and small weapons into No.1 Ward in Taungtha Township of Mandalay Region. 40 mm grenades exploded within the ward. As a result, U Nyunt Wai (57 years old), Ma Nyein Chan May (aka) Mi Nyein (28 years old), both residents of the ward, sustained shrapnel injuries. Additionally, five galvanized roofs and the door of the house of U Wai Phyo Tun (33 years old) were damaged. The injured individuals were transported to Taungtha Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
