A Woman Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by Members of the KNU terrorist group and the so-called PDF terrorist group in Kyaikhto Township of Mon State

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm peaceable civilians and spread fear.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 12 September 2025 at 07:40 PM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Thaton District Public Hospital in Mon State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Daw Tin Myint (62 years old), a resident of Meyonelay Village in Kyaikhto Township. It is reported that she sustained bomb blast–related traumatic injuries due to the explosion of a heavy-weapon grenade fired by members of the KNU terrorist group and the so-called PDF terrorist group into the compound of her residence at 04:20 PM with the intent to harm the public.

     It is reported that the local people utterly condemn the killing of innocent civilians resulting from the indiscriminate use of heavy weapons, small arms and dropped bombs in neighborhoods and villages where civilians are living peacefully. Security personnel, in cooperation with the public, are undertaking necessary measures to strengthen security.
