In Certain Townships, Civil Servant and Innocent Civilian, Injured in Heavy Weapon and Improvised Rocket Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists

      Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 18 May 2026 at 9:40 AM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Daw Tint Tint Tun (34 years old), a resident of Arla Kapa Village in Myinmu Township of Sagaing Region. According to the investigation, on 17 May 2026, the victim was returning on her motorcycle Ga Yu Village. At 9:30 PM, on the same day, when she reached an area between Ga Yu Village and Arla Kapa Village, a heavy weapon shell fired by so-called PDF terrorists exploded nearby, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 11:30 AM, on the same day, while Daw Khine Khine Aye (42 years old), a senior assistant teacher serving on attachment at the Basic Education High School in Ka Zine Village and a resident of Sayar San Ward in Bilin Township of Mon State, was at her house, an improvised rocket fired by so-called PDF terrorists exploded within her yard. As a result, the teacher sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Bilin Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      According to the above mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
