In Certain Townships, Man and Children injured by Heavy Weapon and Drone Bomb Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 24 April 2026 at 7:00 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Shwegyin Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victim was identified as Ko Kyaw San Oo (24 years old), a resident of Don Za Yit Village in Shwegyin Township. According to the investigation, at 2:30 PM, on the same day, a heavy weapon shell fired by so-called PDF terrorists exploded within Htin Kone Village in Nyaunglebin Township, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 8:15 PM, a report stated that two children with shrapnel injuries were admitted to No. 5 Military Hospital (100-bedded) in Myeik Township of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital to conduct further investigation, the victims were identified as Ma Ei Nandar Po (nine years old) and her younger sister, Ma Tun Ei Nandar Htway (seven years old), both residents of Phar Ni Village in Tanintharyi Township. According to the investigation, at 4:15 PM, on the same day, a bomb dropped by a drone operated by so-called PDF terrorists exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
