In Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, a so-called PDF terrorist who shot an innocent civilian and robbed a vehicle was killed and the stolen vehicle was recovered

     The CRPH, NUG and their affiliated PDF terrorist groups, which have been declared terrorist organizations by the government, along with individuals related to them, are carrying out acts aimed at disrupting state peace, instilling fear in the public and destroying government infrastructure. Their actions include targeting and killing innocent people, including civil servants, blowing up and destroying public places and looting public property.

     On 26 December 2024 at 7:20 AM, Daw Moht Moht San (39 years old), a resident of Thu Kha Wadi Street in Thanlar Ward, Monywa Township of Sagaing Region, was taking her white Toyota WISH vehicle (License Plate No. 4D/XXXX) out of her yard onto Thu Kha Wadi Street. At that moment, five masked individuals, identified as so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by three motorcycles, opened fire on her and took her vehicle before fleeing the scene. As a result, Daw Moht Moht San sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to Monywa Township Public Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries while receving medical treatment at the hospital.

     Regarding the above incident, the security personnel conducted a through search to apprehend the culprits. On the same day, at 5:40 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist was shot dead, the stolen vehicle was recovered on the Monywa-Tharsi road near the Kan Thar Monastery in Pyi Thaw Thar War, Monywa Township.

     Therefore, the entire public is urged to unite in the fight against those who commit acts of violence. If anyone has information about their hiding places, movements or living conditions, they are encouraged to report it confidentially to the relevant authorities. A public announcement is hereby issued, requesting all citizens to cooperate and make every effort to restore peace and stability in cities and villages as soon as possible.
