In some Townships, Innocent Civilians Killed and Injured in Attacks by So-Called PDF Terrorists

   The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

   Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 27 February 2026 U Aung Naing Win (46 years old) his wife, Daw Thi Thi Mar (48 years old), both residents of Pein Nal Taw Ward in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region, were travelling on three-wheeled vehicle, driven by U Thant Zin Soe (35 years old), a resident of O-Loat Ward from Dawei Town to Sone Sin Phyar Village in Thayetchaung Township. At 6:30 AM, on the same day, when the vehicle reached an area five miles northwest of Sone Sin Phyar Village, so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on them. As a result, they died on the spot, it is reported.

   Similarly, on 28 February 2026 at 10:00 AM, while Mg Ye Yint Naung (17 years old), a resident of Lat Pan Kyun Village in Pakokku Township of Magway Region, was farming in a plantation field near Aung Thar Yar Village, he sustained gunshot wounds recklessly fired by so-called PDF terrorists. He succumbed to his injuries while being transported to Pakokku Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

   Similarly, on 28 February 2026, U Nyi Nyi Tun (73 years old), a resident of Taung Thu Su Ward in Kyaikto Township of Mon State, was returning home by car from Ta Kay Chaung Village in Kyaikto Township. At 6:00 PM, on the same day, when the vehicle reached an area on the Kyaikto-Kin Mon Chaung road, he sustained gunshot wounds recklessly fired by so-called PDF terrorists. He was transported to Kyaikto Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

   According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
