Tatmadaw River-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (ShwePuzun), Riverine Boat (Sagu) and Tamadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin) with the Tatmadaw Mobile Medical Teams and Medical Teams from Ministry of Health Provide Health Care Services

Tatmadaw River-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (ShwePuzun), Riverine Boat (Sagu) and Tamadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin) with the Tatmadaw Mobile Medical Teams and Medical Teams from Ministry of Health Provide Health Care Services

The Tatmadaw River-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (ShwePuzun) and riverine boat (Sagu) with the Tatmadaw Mobile medical teams and medical teams from the Ministry of Health comprised of specialists, medical officers and nurses are providing healthcare services to locals from the villages in the delta area along the Ayeyarwady river in the Ayeyarwady region and the Bago region. Similarly, Tamadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin) is also providing healthcare services to local people from villages of Cocokyun township in the Yangon region, Hainggyikyun township in the Ayeyarwady region and along the Rakhine coast. The Tatmadaw River-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (ShwePuzun) and riverine boat (Sagu) provided health care services as follows:

· On 22 and 23 November, a total of 1,732 residents in wards and surrounding villages of Zalun township of Ayeyarwady region;

· On 24 and 25 November, a total of 1,218 local residents in wards and surrounding villages of Danuphyu township of Ayeyarwady region;

· On 27 and 28 November, a total of 1,186 local residents in wards and surrounding villages of Maubin township of Ayeyarwady region.

Tamadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin) provided health care services as follows:

· On 22 November, a total of 572 local residents in wards and surrounding villages of Chaungtha township of Ayeyarwady region;

· On 24 November, a total of 942 local residents in wards and surrounding villages of Labutta township of Ayeyarwady region;

· On 25 November, a total of 472 local residents in wards and surrounding villages of Taungkalay village of Ngapudaw township of Ayeyarwady region.

A total of 6,122 patients including 2,142 patients who need medical treatments, 178 patients who need surgical operations, 190 patients with obstetric/gynecologic diseases, 322 patients with pediatric diseases, 1,197 orthopaedic diseases, 310 patients with ENT-related diseases, 1,240 patients with eye diseases and 543 patients with dental and oral diseases were given medical treatment at the Tatmadaw River-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (ShwePuzun),  riverine boat (Sagu) and Tamadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin). The medics conducted operations on 57 patients who needed to perform general surgery and 40 others who needed to perform eye surgery onboard. Moreover, diagnoses and treatments were also provided to 60 patients who needed to take X-ray scans, 119 patients who needed to take television X-ray scans, 232 patients who needed to receive laboratory tests, 134 patients who needed to take ultrasound scanning and 213 cardiologic patients undergoing ECG procedures.

13 patients who needed hospital treatments were arranged to receive required medical treatments at nearby hospitals. Tamadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin) provided health care services to local people from villages of Cocokyun township in the Yangon region, Hainggyikyun township in the Ayeyarwady region and along the Rakhine coast from 2 to 25 November. They returned to Yangon on 27 November, and were welcomed by senior officers, officers, other ranks and their family members of Myanmar Navy.
