Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 20 April, 2024 at 9:15 AM, a report stated that a woman with mine shrapnel injuries arrived at Myaing Township Public Hospital in Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Nan Khin Hmway (39 years old), who lives in No. (3) Ward, Myaing Township, was walking with her husband, U Myint Kyaw Oo, to their field. As they traversed a jungle path west of the village, Daw Nan Khin Hmway stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, causing it to detonate. As a result, she sustained injuries from shrapnel, while U Myint Kyaw Oo was not injured, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
