Three houses were damaged when a group of KNU members, who support terrorism and the so-called PDF terrorists, attacked wards using improvised rockets 

     In States and regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 May 2024, at 9:00 PM, a group of KNU members who support terrorism and the so-called PDF terrorists, fired improvised rockets at wards within Nyaunglebin Township, Bago Region. The shells from these rockets exploded in Myoma Wards No. (2) and (3). As a result, three houses were damaged by the explosions. Fortunately, there were no injuries to people, it is reported.

     Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incident involving an attack with improvised rockets, which resulted in the damages described previously. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
