Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by So- Called PDF Terrorists in Minhla Township of Bago Region

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 7 April 2026 at 11:00 AM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Minhla Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as U Aye Min Tun (46 years old) and U Zaw Win Tun (30 years old), both residents of Sar Chaung Village in Minhla Township. According to the investigation, on 6 April 2026 at 8:30 PM, a so-called PDF terrorists fire heavy weapons into the village. The shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
