Innocent Civilian Injured After Stepping on Landmine Planted by KIA Insurgents and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Mogaung Township of Kachin State

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 December 2025 at 5:30 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Pin Bal Station Hospital in Mogaung Township of Kachin State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Tun Naung (aka) Phoe Chun (53 years old), a resident of Ingyin Kone Village in Mogaung Township. On the same day at 2:45 PM, the victim was working in a bamboo plantation approximately one mile west of the village, he stepped on a landmine planted by a combined group of KIA insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
