Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Loikaw Township of Kayah State

    Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings, and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 5 August 2025 at 2:00 PM, Daw Wut Yi (32 years old), a resident of I-Sant Village in Loikaw Township, was at her house, a heavy weapon shell fired by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded within her yard. As a result, Daw Wut Yi sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Loikaw Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
