So-Called PDF Terrorists Robs of Civil Servants’ Salaries in Loikaw Township, Kayah State

     Armed terrorist groups are committing acts of violence in towns and villages across various regions and states. These acts include the arrest and extortion of civil servants and innocent civilians living peacefully, as well as the murder of these individuals. The groups also use weapons to threaten and rob people of their valuable possessions, including cars and motorcycles.

    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 November 2025 at 2:30 PM, U Khun Twat (57 years old) the headmaster of the Basic Education High School in Shan Village and a resident of Lawpita (Shan) Ward in Lawpita Town, Loikaw Township of Kayah State, was returning in his vehicle from Myanma Economic Bank (Loikaw Branch) in Loikaw Town after collecting MMK 11.9 million for the salaries of 31 education staff. When he reached an area near Ma Htaw Khu (Ah Htet) village, four so-called PDF terrorists arriving by two motorcycles, forced the vehicle to stop and robbed the salary, it is reported.

    Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
