Innocent Civilian Injured in Improvised Rocket Attack by Terrorist Group in Kyon Doe Town, Kawkareik Township of Kayin State

     Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 5 June 2025 at 11:45 AM, a terrorist group fired improvised rockets into No. 1 Ward in Kyon Doe Town, Kawkareik Township of Kayin State. The improvised rockets exploded within the ward. As a result, Mg Aung Si Hein (17 years old) and resident of the ward, sustained shrapnel injuries and is receiving medical treatment at Kyon Doe Station Hospital, it is reported.
    Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians have been injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
