One Innocent Civilian Killed, Two Others Sustained Injuries in Drone Bomb Attack by Naga Ethnic Armed Group in Lahe Township of Sagaing Region

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 20 October 2025 at 8:05 PM, a Naga ethnic armed group conducted a drone attack by dropping bombs on Kar Mwae Law Yi Village in Lahe Township of Sagaing Region. The three bombs exploded within the village. As a result, Ko Khan Paing (25 years old), a resident of the village, died on the spot, while Daw Ah Nhat (55 years old) and her granddaughter, Ma Phee Phon (seven years old), sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
