Township Hall Damaged in Improvised Rocket Attack by KIA Insurgents and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Mawlaik Township of Sagaing Region

    Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear.
   Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 October 2025 at around 10:15 AM, a combined group of KIA insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists fired improvised rockets into Ah Yar Shae Ward in Mawlaik Township of Sagaing Region. One of the rockets exploded on the roof of the Township Hall in the ward. As a result, 19 galvanized roof sheets and the ceiling of the hall were damaged, but fortunately, there were no injuries, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
