Two Innocent Civilians Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Thayetchaung Township of Tanintharyi Region

     Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 12 November 2025 at 9:00 PM, while Ko Kway Swar Naing (22 years old) and Daw Kyi Than Phyu (56 years old), both residents of Maw Shae Kone Ward in Thayetchaung Township of Tanintharyi Region, were at their respective houses, eight so-called PDF terrorists arriving by five motorcycles, claimed they were talking them “For Investigation” and abducted them, it is reported. 

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
