Innocent Civilians Injured and Killed in Small-Arms Attack on Travelling Vehicles by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Bago Township of Bago Region

     Political extremist terrorists, with the intention of destabilizing the state's peace and stability, are carrying out acts of terror such as firing heavy and small arms into towns and villages where innocent civilians reside, desipite these are not being military targets shooting at vehicles travelling on public roads and conducting mine attacks planting mines to destroy and damage roads and bridges.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 26 November 2025 at 11:40 AM, a LAND CRUISER vehicle with license plate No. YGN-36 2E/XXXX, driven by U Pyae Sone Aung (aka) Win Ko Ko Tun (31 years old), along with U Kaung Myat Thu (53 years old), both residents of Pobba Thiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, a RAV 4 vehicle license plate No. YGN-12 6H/XXXX, driven by Daw Ohn Mar Bo Bo (49 years old), along with Daw Aye Mya Mya Kyaw, both residents of North Oakkalapa Township in Yangon Region and a SURF vehicle license plate No. YGN-10 7C/XXXX, driven by Daw Sandar Myint (51 years old), along with Daw Thwal Zin Tun (48 years old) and U Nay Lin (44 years old), all residents of South Oakkalapa in Yangon Region, were travelling from Ta Mar Pin Village in Bago Township of Bago Region to Baw Nat Gyi Village along the Zaung Tu-Taike Gyi road. The vehicles reached an area near Ah Seik Taung Village, a so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on them using small arms. As a result, U Kaung Myat Thu and Daw Thwal Zin Tun died on the spot, while U Pyae Sone Aung (aka) Win Ko Ko Tun, U Nay Lin, Daw Sandar Myint and Daw Ohn Mar Bo Bo, sustained gunshot wounds. Additionally, the vehicles were damaged, with an estimated value of MMK 170 million. Fortunately, Daw Aye Mya Mya Kyaw was unharmed. The deceased and injured individuals were transported to Bago District Public Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
