Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Htantapin Township of Bago Region

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 December 2025 at 9:00 AM, a report stated that two women with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Taungoo Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as Daw Khin Lay Ma (62 years old) and her daughter, Ma Khine Zin Oo (40 years old), both residents of Nyaung Pin Thar Village in Htantabin Township. On 3 December 2025 at 3:30 PM, when the victims were at their houses, a heavy weapon shell fired by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded nearby, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
