100-Hosuehold Elder and Innocent Civilian Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Salin Township of Magway Region

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 30 November 2025 at 12:30 PM, while U Kan Myint (62 years old), a 100-household elder and a resident of Shar Taw Myauk Village in Salin Township of Magway Region and U Win Myint (68 years old), a former 100-hosuehold elder and a resident of Pho Su Village, were at their respective houses, a group of about 10 so-called PDF terrorists arriving by five motorcycles and abducted them, it is reported. 

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
