Two Innocent Civilians Injured After Stepping on Landmines Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Singu Township of Mandalay Region   

    In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 December 2025 at 3:20 PM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Madaya Township Public Hospital in Mandalay Region. Security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as Mg Aung Myat Moe (17 years old), a resident of Shwe Pyi Village in Singu Township and U Win Naing Soe (53 years old), a resident of Kyauk Nga Nwar Village in Singu Township. According to investigation, at 12:20 PM, on the same day, while Mg Aung Myat Moe was farming in a plantation field south of his village, he stepped on a landmine planted by so-called PDF terrorists. Similarly, at 2:10 PM, on the same day, while U Win Naing Soe was cutting firewood in a forest east of his village, he stepped on a landmine planted by  so-called PDF terrorists. As a result, both men sustained shrapnel injuries, it is reported.

    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
