Innocent Civilian Injured by Explosive Device Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 August 2025 at 3:00 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Myint Soe (65 years old), a resident of Phaung Kar Village in Myingyan Township. The incident occurred around 8:30 AM on the same day, while the victim was travelling on his motorcycle to Myingyan Town. When he reached an area between Phaung Kar Village and Sa Kha Ma Village locally know as, an improvised explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded on the roadside, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
