Terrorist Group Posts Election Threat Note in Nyaungshwe Township of Shan State

     The state government is implementing the objectives of “To sustain the emergence of capable political forces and people’s respresentatives who are dedicated to the national interest of the State by implementing a genuine and disciplined multiparty democracy” and “To achieve success in the process of multiparty democracy general elections with public participation in implementing the multiparty democratic system that the entire people aspire”. However, terrorist organizations and their subordinate groups, which oppose national development, are conducting sabotage activities with the intention of disrupting and undermining the election.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 13 September 2025 at 8:30 AM, a report stated that a threatening note had been posted on the metal bar on the eastern side of a bridge in Inn Tein Village, Nyaungshwe Township of  Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, the found that a thick cardboard placard that read threatening and opposing texts, posted by a terrorist group with the intent to disrupt and sabotage the election. The security personnel removed the placard, it is reported.

     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
