In Certain Townships, Two Administrative Officials Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists

      The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorist groups known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.
      Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 18 May 2026 at 3:05 PM, while U Kyi Win (65 years old), the Wah Khwa Village Tract Administrator and a resident of Nyaung Pin Village in Mahlaing Township of Mandalay Region, was at his house, so-called PDF terrorist arrived and abducted him. The terrorists then took him to an area near Pyu Kan Village, where they opened fire on him. As a result, U Kyi Win died on the spot, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 4:00 PM, on the same day, while U Zaw Lwin (58 years old), 100-household elder and a resident of Nit Ka Yin Village in Ye Township of Mon State, was at his house, two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle, and opened fire on him. As a result, U Zaw Lwin died on the spot, it is reported.
      According to the above mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
