Innocent Civilian Shot Dead by Pro-Terrorism KNU Members and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Bilin Township of Mon State

    In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 3 June 2025 at 7:40 AM, a report stated that a woman was shot dead in Thit Tho Kyun Village, Bilin Township of Mon State. When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, they discovered that the victim was identified as Daw Thida Moe (aka) Ka Lar Ma (53 years old), a resident of the village. The incident occurred while she was on her way to a shop in the village. When she arrived in front of the Basic Education Primary School, a pro-terrorism KNU member and a so-called PDF terrorist arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on her. As a result, Daw Thida Moe (aka) Ka Lar Ma died on the spot, it is reported.
    Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
