Myanmar Engineering Council receives world recognized certificates

MYANMAR Engineering Council (MEngC) hosted a dinner yesterday for being approved of provisional status in Washington Accord at International Engineering Alliance and receiving the certificate of FEIAP Engineering Education Guidelines Compliance presented by the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and Pacific (FEIAP) for the second level.

Union Minster for Construction U Han Zaw attended the dinner at the Lotte Hotel in Yangon, and made a congratulation remark, followed by appreciation words of Pyithu Hluttaw Transport, Communications and Construction Committee Chairman U Tin Maung Win.

MEngC’s President Dr. Charlie Than handed over the two certificates to the Union Minister. The latter then presented certificates of appreciations to the patrons and former presidents of MEngC.

Then, Dr Cho Win Maw, the vice president of MEngC, read out the message sent by Prof Dr Chuah Hean Teik, the president of FEIAP.

The patrons and former presidents of MEngC conferred certificate of appreciations to members of scrutinizing committee for qualification of engineering specialized subject and the donors.
