State Counsellor receives Member of House of Representatives, National Diet of Japan

State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi received the delegation led by Mr Masahito Moriyama, Member of the House of Representatives, National Diet of Japan, at 10 am yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters relating to Japanese development assistance in Myanmar, mitigation of natural disasters in Myanmar, vocational training programmes and educational reforms, provision of the functional prosthetics, education and creation of job opportunities for people with disabilities in Myanmar, and Japan’s continued support towards Myanmar’s democratization process.
