An Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapons Attack on Wards by Armed Insurgents Supporting Terrorism and So-called PDF terrorists

     In respective States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in the community areas of wards and village where innocent civilians reside. 

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on July 3, 2024 at 6:30 PM,security personnel received a report of a man with shrapnel injuries had arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township, Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Tun Tun Min (48 years old) and a resident of Lat Pan Hla Village in Sinku Township. While he was in his house, a heavy weapon shell fired a terrorist group, exploded within his yard, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     Security personnel are conducting further investigations to take punitive action against the perpetrators of terrorists who conducted heavy weapon attack on the village and also taking security measures to restore stability and peace in the area, it is reported.
