In Certain Townships, Civil Servants and Administrative Officials Kill and Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists

      Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities including abducting and extorting money from civil servants, local civilians and also administrative officials, as well as killings.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 May 2026 at 10:00 AM, while Daw Khin San Htay (57 years old), a primary teacher from No. 3 Basic Education Post Primary School (Chaung-U Myauk) and a resident of Chaung-U Myauk Ward in Chaung-U Township, was at her house, so-called PDF terrorists arriving by car and abducted her, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 9:00 AM, on the same day, U Soe Thit (65 years old), the village tract administrator and a resident of Ngar Lone Tin Village in Chaung-U Township of Sagaing Region, was travelling by car to Monywa Town. When he reached an area near Mhan Cho Village in Chaung-U Township, so-called PDF terrorists personnel the vehicle to stop and abducted him. The terrorists took him to an area near a railway track about 300 meters east of the village, where they opened fire on him. As a result, U Soe Thit died on the spot. Additionally, the terrorists took the vehicle, it is reported.
      Likewise, at 1:45 PM, while U Khin Aung San (aka) San San (50 years old), the ward administrator and a resident of Pan Taw Ward in Thayetchaung Township of Tanintharyi Region, was at the “Shik Taw-2” restaurant in the ward, six so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycles and abducted him, it is reported.
      Regarding the above incidents, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
