So-Called PDF Terrorist Group Torches Village Administrator’s Office in Thegon Township of Bago Region

    Armed terrorist groups are committing acts of violence: such as armed attacks, mine explosions and arson; targeting administrative buildings, roads, bridges and public areas, with the intent to disrupt governance mechanisms and undermine peace and stability in the country.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 15 July 2025 at 1:00 AM, six so-called PDF terrorists arrived by three motorcycles at Kwin Gyi Village in Thegon Township of Bago Region, coming from the side of Yae Soat Pin Village, located about one mile southeast of Kwin Gyi Village. They set fire to the Village Administrator’s Office. As a result, the building (measuring approximately 15 feet in length, 20 feet in width and 12 feet in height) was completely burned down, it is reported.
    It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
