Innocent Civilian Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Gyobingauk Township of Bago Region

     Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 November 2025 at  5:00 AM, U Win Aung (50 years old) and his son, Ko Aung Khine Myint (22 years old), both residents of Taw Ya Village in Gyobingauk Township of Bago Region, were travelling by motorcycle to Gyobingauk Town along the Taw Ya-Gyobingauk road.  when they reached an area about one mile northwest of the village, eight so-called PDF terrorists arriving by five motorcycles from the opposite direction, forced them to stop and abducted U Win Aung, accusing him of being a “decoy”. However, the terrorists released Ko Aung Khine Myint along with the motorcycle, it is reported. 

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
