Two Innocent Civilians Injured After Stepping on Landmine Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Shwegyin Township of Bago Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 November 2025, at 10:00 AM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Shwegyin Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as U Ye Kyaw Swar (30 years old), a resident of Tha Yat Chaung Village and Ko Chan Lin Soe (24 years old), a resident of Inn Ga Ni Village. Both villages are located in Shwegyin Township. While the victims were on their way to a rubber plantation near Tha Yat Chaung Village, U Ye Kyaw Swar accidentally stepped on a landmine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group near Inn Ga Ni Village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
