Innocent Civilian Injured After Stepping on Landmine Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Phyu Township of Bago Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 November 2025 at 02:15 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Phyu Township Public Hospital in Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Win Shwe (56 years old), a resident of Thaung Pu Village in Phyu Township. At 12:30 PM, on the same day, while the victim was on his way to a plantation field about two furlongs south of the village, he accidentally stepped on a landmine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group near the field, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
