Three Innocent Civilians Abducted Along with Vehicle by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Sinbaungwe Township of Magway Region

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 18 January 2026, at 7:15 PM, while U Myint Ngwe (70 years old), his son-in-law, U Nyein Maung Maung (43 years old) and his brother-in-law, U Maung Nyunt (51 years old), all residents of Chaung Kaunt Village in Sinbaungwe Township of Magway Region, were at their house, a group of 10 so-called PDF terrorists, arriving by five motorcycles, abducted them along with a vehicle owned by U Myint Ngwe, it is reported.

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
